Recently, Florida has had a 71% increase in road rage cases. This puts Florida as the state with the highest rates of road rage cases in the US. Since 2014, there have been 277 cases of road rage in Florida. The next highest stateis Texas with 220 cases.
Many of these road rage cases involve guns. Sadly, Florida is also the leading state with road rage case involving guns. Local law enforcement believes the cause of road rage is the increasing population and increasing number of vehicles on the road. A local psychologist says in addition to this population, angry drivers begin looking at the other vehicles as something in their way rather than a fellow person also trying to get somewhere.
